Ambulance Corp to Host Second Annual Pig Roast

Wide menu in store for a day of Ambulance volunteer fundraising.

Though probably to the dismay of Warner Brothers’ Porky Pig, the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be hosting its second annual Pig Roast and Beer Garden.

The event will be held on September 14, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., as a fundraising effort for the first responders.

It will be at the Corps’ facility at 29 Prospect St. in Madison. Other items on the beefy (pun intended) menu include: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, roasted pig, pulled pork barbeque, barbecued chicken, corn bread, hot dogs, garden salad, cole slaw and watermelon.

The event is rain or shine, and according to a event preview on the Borough of Madison website, “this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever and it benefits a great organization, the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps! See you there!"
