Pfizer Inc., Madison's largest employer, plans to sell its office space at 5 Giralda Farms and will relocate all of the 1,000 employees who work there by the end of the year, the company said Tuesday. A Madison man has agreed to pay $2 million in overtime back wages and $1 million in damages to employees at gas stations he owns throughout New Jersey, including one on Main Street in the borough, the U.S. Labor Department announced Thursday. Officials said they expect to be able to keep current staffing levels and programs, and that a more detailed presentation on the budget is expected to be prepared for upcoming meetings.
