Madison Jets Fans Can Send Team Off on Saturday

The squad is holding the event at its training facility in Florham Park the day before the AFC Championship game in Pittsburgh.

Madison Police are already asking residents to avoid the area of Park Avenue where it meets Florham Park on Saturday morning. Of course, that goes for anyone who isn’t traveling that road to wish the New York Jets well on their quest for the Super Bowl. The Atlantic Health Jets Training Center at One Jets Drive in Florham Park will be the site of a sendoff the team expects thousands to attend. The event, which was also held last year, is scheduled to begin on Saturday at 9 a.m. and last until noon, according to the team’s website. Fans will be able to wish the team luck on its way to the AFC Championship game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers, scheduled for Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. (CBS Ch. 2) for the right to face either the Chicago …

Jets Get Major Sendoff

Fans from Madison and surrounding towns sent Jets off.

Thousands of Jets fans, including Madison Mayor Mary-Anna Holden, were at the Jets training facility in Florham Park on Saturday morning to send Gang Green off to the AFC Championship against the Colts in Indianapolis. Although the Jets fell short of the Super Bowl on Sunday afternoon, fans had a great time seeing them off and watching a young team mature this postseason.
