Man Wanted in Multiple States Arrested on Burglary Charges

A wanted fugitive in three states and a suspect in burglaries that reportedly occurred in at least four New Jersey counties, as well as Pennsylvania, has been arrested after being investigated in Morris County. According to Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Gerald Broadwater, 61, of Lithonia, Ga., was arrested on burglary charges following an investigation by his office and the Florham Park and Parsippany police departments. The investigation focused on Broadwater’s suspected involvement in commercial burglaries taking place in Morris County. Broadwater was arrested at a Newark residence Thursday morning.
