Comedy Show Fundraiser Planned by Ex-Councilman
Rodney Laney, who has appeared on Comedy Central and "The Late Late Show," is appearing at an event in Madison this weekend organized by former Councilman Sam Cerciello.
A comedy show fundraiser to benefit Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts in Union Beach is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the North Star Club, 95 North Street, Madison, former Madison Councilman Sam Cericiello has announced. Tickets are $25, which includes beer, wine and snacks and desserts. Comics include Rodney Laney of Comedy Central and "The Late Late Show," MC John Ianarone, Cerciello, who is billed on an event flier as Sammy "The Joke Man" Cerciell. Music will be performed by Pete Limone. Cerciello first saw Laney at Romanelli's in Madison. Cerciello first performed standup comedy about a month ago at the Myersville Inn in the Gillette section of Long Hill.
