Madison Execs Continue Networking, Outreach

The Chief Executive Council for Madison recently launched a leadership program for students.

The Chief Executive Council for Madison, which brings business, government, nonprofit and education leaders together to network and collaborate, recently held its second meeting and launched a leadership program to benefit Madison students. The council's second meeting, held April 26 on the Drew University campus, was hosted by Dr. Vivian Bull, Drew's president and founding chair for the council. In May, the council launched an "Emerging Leaders" program with Madison High School and Junior Achievement. The program included Bull’s invitation to Madison High School students to attend the Drew Forum featuring Dr. Condoleezza Rice, and the launch of an executive lunch series that brought chiefs from Quest Diagnostics and Realogy to meet with …

Quest CEO, Drew President, Mayor Bring Leaders to Table

Inaugural meeting of the Chief Executive Council for Madison was held at Hartley Dodge Memorial.

A group of executives who live or work in Madison met Monday morning at Hartley Dodge Memorial for the inaugural meeting of the Chief Executive Council for Madison, a new group that was formed to bring together local leaders to find ways to help each other and the community. Stephen Rusckowski, Quest Diagnostics president and CEO, Madison Mayor Bob Conley and Dr. Vivian A. Bull, interim president of Drew University, are the founding chairs of the organization, which focuses on corporate impact, stakeholder collaboration and education leadership. 2012 Olympic Gold medalist in rowing Esther Lofgren was the guest speaker at the event.
