If you live outside the state of New Jersey, avoid bidding in ANY sales conducted by this auction company. I purchased a rug in anticipation of some guests arriving and my payment was prompt. Sellers implied my rug was sent to shipping company (All Points Shipping, the shipping company they recommend).
I paid All Points $275.00 to ship a 10X10 rug from their auction at end of May. It is already July 20th and I still have not received my rug. When I made inquiries to All Points Shipping, they told me that Millea Bros. did not send them the rug and they that themselves have forgotten all about it! The rug was just sent to them last week! And if I had not inquired about it, it would have languished in their warehouse until who knows when.
When I called Millea Bros to cancel the sale (in as much as the purpose of buying the rug was moot), they refused to give me a refund for the miniscule amount of $235.00. All Points is willing to provide a complete refund but not Millea Bros. Now they are claiming that I am trying to wriggle out of the sale because I am not satisfied. How can I be dissatisfied? For heaven's sake, I have not even seen the rug yet! Will you be?
ADVICE: Avoid this Auction Co. like the plague. They have BAD customer service, a BAD attitude and ZERO follow up. All they want is your money and screw you after the sale! Frankly, their rating is beyond AWFUL.
