Il Monde Vecchio is the grandmother of great Italian - it was the inspiration (and same owner I believe) of the great Scalini Fedeli of Chatham and NYC fame. One of the top restaurants in the area. NYC quality at suburban prices. Love...love...love the byob policy. This place has been around for YEARS and never fails to impress. Scalini Fedeli is as good, but w/ a slightly different ambiance ie more contemporary as opposed to IMV which is more rustic. Great place to take and impress business clients, and host family celebrations.
