Historic Madison Tours, Pizza-Themed Farmers' Market This Week

Emergency training at FDU, 'Tovarich' also on tap.

Emergency Training: FDU's College at Florham will host more than 100 law enforcement officers from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday for critical incident response training, according to Capt. Robert Treiber of the Florham Park Police Department, which is organizing the drill. Local, county and federal law enforcement agencies and emergency responders will be participating. Nearby residents and motorists should not be affected.

Tovarich: The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's production of the provocative romantic comedy "Tovarich" continues through Sunday. Tickets range from $35 to $70; student rush tickets are available 30 minutes prior to curtain for $15. For tickets or more information call 973-408-5600 or visit www.ShakespeareNJ.org.

Pizza at the Market: At the Madison Farmers Market—1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday on Green Village Road off Main Street—look out for samples from Madison pizzerias, a dough-throwing demonstration, and pizza activities. Also, walking tours of Madison with the Madison Historical society are scheduled to leave from the market at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Live music by Bakersfield Breakers, a trio with an instrumental surf sound, is on from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
