Dodgers Seek 'Three-peat' Using Same Formula

Will they win a third consecutive title this season? Will they keep a 25-game winning streak alive?

"We don't stress too much about it," Head Coach Chris Kubik said. "I'm very curious how we come out on Saturday."

The team has in scrimmages.

"Now it's time to play," Kubik said.

He said the Dodgers are using the same formula as last year, with new players filling in open spots, and building around the veterans. The team is led by four captains, seniors Justin Goodwin, Carson Lassiter, Matt McDonald and Devin Koep.

"Nothing changed with the scheme, our approach," he said. "We want to be consistent—fast and physical on both sides of the ball."

That means knocking people around, running fast, hitting hard, stopping run games and being extremely aggressive.

Kubik said it's a deep team with "11 guys on both sides of the ball that have been excellent for us."

"We're happy with the direction we're going," Kubik said. "We're strong in a lot of spots. The newcomers are all coming along."
