Rain Doesn't Stop Second Chandler Cup

A dozen teams competed in soccer tournament in memory of longtime Madison High School teacher and coach.

Rain didn't stop the 2nd Annual Bob Chandler Cup, held Friday on the Ted Monica stadium field at Madison High School.

A dozen teams competed in the soccer tournament, which raised more than $500 for the Bob Chandler Scholarship Fund, athletic secretary Nancy Willis said.

The scholarship is given in memory of Robert Chandler, a coach and teacher at the school for three decades who died in July after battling pancreatic cancer.
