Pee Wees on Display in New Meadowlands Stadium
Madison youths get a chance to play out dreams during New York Jets' preseason game.
The Madison Dodgers Pee Wee football team recently participated in the NFL and NFLPA USA Football Youth Appreciation Day prior to the New York Jets' preseason game against the Washington Redskins at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
After being transported to the game by the Jets and participating in a luncheon with three other participating Pee Wee teams, the Dodgers took to the field and played an eight-minute game against the neighboring Florham Park Falcons.
The Jets organization graciously provided both teams with transportation, lunch, and tickets for the players and their families to watch the preseason contest. Both teams represented their towns well and were proud to have been part of this once-in-a lifetime experience.
