Madison High School Boys Hoops Team Holds Off Parsippany
Fant's near double-double lifts 2-0 Dodgers to victory.
Aaron Fant scored nine points and grabbed 17 rebounds to help lead the Madison boys basketball team to a 51-45 victory over pesky Parsippany Tuesday night in Parsippany.
Jake Meister led the Dodgers to their second straight win to open the season, scoring 13 points against Parsippany. Meister hit a pair of free throws in the closing minutes to keep the Red Hawks from pulling closer than four points.
Fant, Madison's point guard, also had five assists.

"Aaron was a monster on the boards tonight," said Madison coach Bill Librera. "He had two key rebounds and two assists late in the game as well."
Senior forward Robbie Savacool added six points, four rebounds and two blocks.
