The North 2, Group II playoff picture includes two cross-town rivals, as No. 2 seeded Madison gets set for a first round game against Hackettstown at home on Saturday at 1 p.m., and No. 6 Chatham heads to visit Bernards on Friday at 7 p.m.
Madison (8-0) heads into its first round game against division rival Hackettstown riding a 21-game winning streak dating back to 2010, and is fueled by a defense that has held opponents to under 10 points per contest, and a running game that appears almost impossible to stop.
Chatham sits at 6-3 this season, following a Week 9 loss to Kittatinny, and will rely on the solid running of Cory Heidaran and the leadership of quarterback Sam Failla in a tough first round game against Bernards (7-1).
