Jouan, Diaz Lead Dodgers to Tourney Title

GIrls fall to Hackettstown in consolation round.

Through five games this season, Madison boys basketball head coach Bill Librera has seen his “next man up” philosophy work to perfection. With every member of his Dodger squad willing and able to make an impact in each game, Librera & Co. cruised to a 4-0 mark heading into Wednesday’s Dodger Tournament final.

On Wednesday, Librera's “next man” was Scott Jouan, whose game winning free throw with five seconds remaining locked up Madison’s 64-63 win over Whippany Park, and sealed the early season tournament title.

Jouan finished the game with 16 points, but it was Cameron Diaz who took home tournament MVP honors for Madison- winners of five straight.
