Dodger Rewind: Haughey Leads Madison Boys

Andersson, McAndrew tops in hockey and girls hoops.

Last season, Madison basketball fans got accustomed to seeing Mike Haughey hit clutch shots on the court.

On Thursday night, its was "little brother" Sean Haughey's 14 points that helped the Madison boys basketball team to a big win, as the Dodgers improved to 3-0 this season with a 56-54 win over Mountain Lakes in overtime.  

Madison rallied on Thursday night, netting a combined seven three pointers to erase a six-point halftime deficit.

Eight Dodgers scored in the win, as Cameron Dias finished with 13 points, Matt Gilbert netted 11 points and Scott Jouan chipped in with 10, helping Madison remain unbeaten.

was too much for Parsippany to overcome as the Madison ice hockey team rolled, 8-1, on Thursday at Mennen Arena in Morris Township. Bowen Van Ryzin, Ryan Hoover and Kyle Midlige also scored for Madison (5-3).

Bryan Varsalone scored for Parsippany (2-5).

Girls Basketball Falls

Bridget McAndrew led all scorers with15 points, as the Madison girls basketball team fell to Morris Hills, 49-33, on Thursday, according to NJ.com.
