Vintage Baseball at Ayres/Knuth Farm

What's better on a warm summer day than baseball? On Sunday, August 12, bring the family for an old-fashioned, vintage baseball game or two at the historic Ayres/Knuth Farm in Denville, NJ.

Playing in period uniforms, and using the rules of the day, The Flemington Neshanock Base Ball Club will meet the Elkton Eclipse from Maryland, at Knuth Fields across from the Lakeview School on Cooper Road. They will share the story of baseball as it was played in the 1800s.  The games start at 11 AM and will continue until about 4 PM.  Come for one game, or stay for the double-header.  Bring your lawn chair or a blanket, as in the 1860’s!  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.  Parking will be free.
