Dodgers Drop Second Straight

Girls earn win No. 2.

After an 8-0 start to the season, the Madison boys basketball team has hit its first slump, as the Dodgers followed Wednesday’s loss at Chatham with a 65-43 loss to unbeaten Morristown-Beard on Friday night in Madison.

And for the second consecutive game, the Dodger offense went cold late, as Madison -after holding a four-point lead at halftime- was held Madison to just 10 points in the second half -including a three-point third quarter.

Chris Jenkins and Harrison Rosemond each scored 18 points for Morris Catholic, who improved to 10-0 with the win.

Matt Gilbert finished with a team high 14 points for Madison. Cameron Dias and Sean Haughey each scored 9.

The Madison girls basketball team earned its second win of the season with a 46-26 win over St. Elizabeth, according to NJ.com.
