Dodgers Carrying the Ball–or Stick, or Pole–to the Next Level
Madison seniors heading for fields of play in college.
While the members of 's Class of 2011 count down the days until they head off to college, some of their classmates have already been hard at work on training programs designed to help them take their games, as it were, to the next level. A fortunate few have accepted scholarships and signed letters of intent to play, while others will be afforded a formal opportunity to compete in their chosen sport, without financial subsidy. At least one will seek competition for competition's sake, trying to overcome steep odds to find a place on the roster as the ultimate over-achiever known as a walk-on.
