Tailgate Party Set To Fire Up Fans

As Madison H.S. football team readies for semifinals, fans plan tailgate at American Legion.

Dodger football fans are once again savoring the 22-0 winning streak of the football team at and Dodger fever is growing.

On Saturday Dodger Nation, a group of fans founded by Mike Waresk whose son Spencer was a senior last year when the Dodgers won the state championship, and Jim Bradley, father of Owen, defensive end and full back last year and Sean, a senior cornerback, will throw its second jubilant tailgate party.

This time it will be in the parking lot of American Legion starting at 10 a.m. At 12:45 p.m., fans will take part in the Dodger Walk, heading up to the football game at Madison High School, a short walk across Ridgedale Avenue. Fans are advised to wear their sports jerseys and their maroon and gold.
