Madison softball is offering for girls who tryout and make the team a chance to play higher level travel softball in the spring. Tryouts for 14U, 12U and 10U (summer only) will be in early February, practices in February and March, and weekend tournaments in April, May and June. The travel schedule will not conflict with recreation teams.
For the third year, players in the 7th/8th and 5th/6th grade divisions will compete against teams from both Chatham and Summit throughout the season. Younger players will continue to play only in town games.
Madison Softball is proud to support the $20/player field usage fee. All money collected from this fee will be given to the Madison Athletic Foundation and used to maintain our fields. We are also excited to be playing this spring at the new turf fields behind . We expect to continue to use the field for our youngest/oldest players and are working to confirm fields for all other divisions.
