Order Fruit by Nov. 23 to Support the Madison Music Association

Orders placed online can be picked up, shipped anywhere or donated to local groups.

The deadline for ordering fresh Florida citrus from the Madison Music Association (MMA) is Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Orders can be placed on the website and can be shipped anywhere or picked up on Dec. 14 at the Madison High School band room.

Visitors to the website can decide the type of citrus to purchase and arrange to have fruit shipped to a far away address or have distant relatives place orders directly on the site for themselves.

For the first time, fruit baskets can also be sent to friends / families/employees, etc.

Those who want to help others in need can also purchase cartons of oranges for donation to a number of Morris County agencies, including the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown, Madison Day Care, Dover Day Care, Eric Johnson House, The Interfaith Food Pantry, Homeless Solutions, and the Front Porch and Trinity Church soup kitchen in Dover.

Last year the response was so great that approximately 3,000 oranges were donated, providing welcome nourishment in mid-winter. Information on how to order and donate is on the website.

This is the major fundraiser for The MMA, which supports all the music programs in grades K – 12 in the Madison Public Schools.
