Madison schools will be closed Friday because of a snowstorm approaching the area, the district has announced.
Friday garbage pickup has been postponed to Saturday, according to an alert from the borough asking residents to remove cans from the curb.
Police said no on-street parking is allowed so streets can be cleared.
New Jersey is under a state of emergency due to the storm. Expect blustery weather Friday, with wind blowing snow around and a high near 20, according to the National Weather Service. Daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
