MEF 5K Draws Runners, Kids, Lots of Teachers [PHOTOS]

A Madison resident won Sunday's race; more teachers and principals participated than ever before.

The Madison Education Foundation's Ninth Annual Madison 5K Run/Walk/Kids’ Fun Run on Sunday at drew hundreds of spectators, runners, children, and a dog named Tilly.

Teachers and principals participated in force, with more faculty members running than ever before, organizers said.

Andy Bria of Madison crossed the finish line first. For the kids' run, Peter Carroll, 9, finished first and Jamie Habib, 8, took second place.
