An author and lecturer will present "Recite & Recall — Knowing the Koran" at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham's Monninger Center.

Princeton University's Dr. Heba Musharraf, a lecturer in the Department of Near Eastern Studies, will speak at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Orangérie at the Monninger Center, followed by a screening of the documentary "Koran by Heart."

Musharraf’s presentation will examine the relationship between faith, the Koran and the role that memorization plays in defining and substantiating the way Islam is lived and experienced, according to a news release from FDU.
