FDU Celebrates 70th Commencement [PHOTOS]

Nobel Peace Prize winner encourages graduates to give back

About 2,500 students graduated during Fairleigh Dickinson University's 70th Commencement at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford Tuesday. 

The ceremony featured commencement speaker Nobel Peace Prize winner Jody Williams, who encouraged graduates to give back to causes they cared about. 

Williams received an honorary doctorate from the university along with Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. and Michael Baumeister, an attorney and FDU alum.
