The IEP Process: Effective Preparation & Participation

The Learning Laboratory is pleased to present: Effective Preparation and Participation in the IEP Process on Tuesday, May 11th. This workshop will be presented by Sandra Lascari, Esq, of the Law Offices of Sandra Lascari, and Polly Scott, M.A., of The Learning Laboratory, LLC. The purpose of this workshop is to assist parents in effectively and efficiently preparing for and participating in the IEP process for their children. The presenters will provide tips and strategies related to the entire IEP process, including:  understanding testing results, placement decisions, developing strong goals and objectives, progress reporting and monitoring progress, trouble-shooting and resolution strategies. 

The workshop will begin at 7 pm and will be held at the Learning Lab's 36 Main Street location. It is part of the center's parent education program and is free to interested participants. However, seating is limited, so pre-registration is required.
