Rain Barrels and Water Catchment

Wanda Knapik, President of My Local Garden,  will present a program on rain barrels on Thursday, July 19th at 7pm in the Chase Room of the Madison Public Library. Learn about easy solutions for conserving, capturing, sinking and managing water on your property.  Wanda Knapik, owner of My Local Garden, will talk about rain barrels, drip irrigation, rain gardens and landscape solutions for your home and backyard.  There are simple and practical steps you can take to use less tap water, more rainwater and to keep water in your landscape and out of your basement.  Wanda lectures across New Jersey on sustainable home solutions and regenerative ecological solutions to inspire people to take small steps that together lead to big positive environmental improvements across our communities and our state.  The program will include demonstration materials, books, supplier info and a slide show.   Register for this free program by calling (973) 377-0722, Ext. 2.
