Ash Wednesday Service, Lenten Studies at the Presbyterian Church of Madison

Pastor Nancy Lynch of the Presbyterian Church of Madison invites all who are interested to join her for the annual Ash Wednesday Worship on Wednesday, 2/22/2012 at 7:30 PM.

The service will take place in the historic Webb Chapel (19 Green Ave, Madison, across from the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building). The Webb Memorial Chapel is a renowned Romanesque Revival style building.

Ash Wednesday is the first day of lent, and a day of repentance, of expressing sorrow for one’s sins and faults. It is the first step in first step in the spiritual transformation that leads to Easter Sunday and the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
