Doll Performance to Raise Funds for Grace High School Senior

Annual event to aide college-bound student.

You don’t have to hop a train to experience a real New York City doll outing —  just come to the on Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. 

For the third year in a row, 30 girls of will present a play based on the New York City “American” dolls and their stories about friendship and courage. Doll 3: Finding Our Way is a one-hour performance of three original skits, never performed before, and written by the girls and their leaders: Mary Lea Crawley, Mary McManus and Barb Short.

The 11 a.m. show is followed by an elegant high tea, which is included in the price of $18 per person. The 2 p.m. show is followed by a bake sale and is priced at $10 per person. In addition, there will be a Girls & Dolls Clothing Boutique.

This college fundraiser will help a Grace Church senior with the rising costs of tuition and books.

Doll performances have sold out in past years — get your tickets early! Tickets can be purchased by sending a check made out to “Grace Church” with “Scholarship Fund” in the Memo field. Please include the show time and the number of guests attending the show. Ticket buyers will have their name on a list that will be at the door on the performance date. Please mail all checks to Grace Church, 4 Madison Ave., Madison, N.J., 07940.
