Andersson's Offensive Barrage Powers Dodgers
Captain scores five goals, hands out two assists as Madison skates past Parsippany.
The ice hockey team was led by a huge night from Erik Andersson on Thursday, as the Dodgers defeated Parsippany, 8-1, at Mennen Arena. Andersson scored five goals and added two assists.
IN SHORT
Andersson's scores included back-to-back wrap-around goals just minutes apart. Teammates Bowen Van Ryzin, Kyle Midlige and Ryan Hoover rounded out the Dodger scoring. Notable in the game was Madison's penalty killing in the second period when the Dodgers held off a couple of Red Hawks power plays, including a two-man advantage for nearly two minutes, not giving up a score and only two shots on goal.
