Seniors Can Query Candidates at Upcoming Voters Forum

Second of two boro pre-election events.

Candidates for mayor and Borough Council in the Nov. 8 election will soon bring their collective messages to a second public gathering.

The Madison Senior Center will host a voter forum at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 17, at the located at the , 28 Walnut St.

The candidates invited to the forum are limited to those appearing on the ballot: Republican incumbent Mayor Mary-Anna Holden and Democratic rival Robert Conley; Republican Borough Council candidates Robert Landrigan and Martin Barbato, and Democrats Carmela Vitale and Robert McDowell.

The agenda calls for the candidates to present their positions and answer questions submitted by the audience. Refreshments will be served.

In addition to candidates appearing on the ballot, this forum will include incumbent Republican councilman Sam Cerciello, who as an Independent is running for reelection as a write-in candidate.
