In Meeting Video, Quiet Tribute to Madison's Attorney

After meeting adjourns, shot dwells on Joseph Mezzacca Jr.'s seat before fading out.

Video of the most recent Borough Council meeting, uploaded to the RosenetTV YouTube channel Thursday night, includes a quiet tribute to borough attorney Joseph Mezzacca Jr., who died this month after an illness at age 65.

The June 11 meeting was the first since Mezzacca died and, after the meeting is adjourned, the shot dwells on Mezzacca's empty seat before fading out.

The meeting ends about 2 hours 45 minutes into the video.

"It is hard to to remember a time before Joe took a seat at this table," Conley said. "His advice was always sound and had the best interests of Madison in mind."

Conley said the borough expects to pay further tribute to Mezzacca at Monday's Borough Council meeting.

Meetings are filmed for the borough by Robert Kopacz of RosenetTV.
