Light agenda for planning board.

The Planning Board disposed of two agenda items at an unusually brief regular meeting Tuesday night at .

Board Vice Chairman Peter Flemming Sr. presided in place of Chairman Steven Tombalakian, who was absent due to illness.

One item was a minor subdivision of property located at 37 Elm St., owned by Dr. Louis DeBiasse since 1960. The application sought to divide Block 1301, Lot 9 into two conforming lots, one more than 10,000 square feet and the other more than 11,000 square feet.

Board planner Susan Blickstein asked if DeBiasse would agree to a deed restriction for construction of a single-family home on each lot, according to . board member and Mayor Mary-Anna Holden.

Attorney Sam DeAngelis, representing DiBiasse, said that his client was not agreeable to the request as there is no reason for such a restriction as the application conforms to its zone.

There will be, however, restrictions memorialized in the resolution that states the specific terms and conditions under present zoning. Engineer Fred Meola, also representing DiBiasse, said that on the subdivision plat he will add the zone chart information. On motion, the Planning Board approved the subdivision application unanimously.

The board unanimously approved the first request for extension of time for compliance with the resolution of , 20 Waverly Place, until April 1, 2012.
