Madison Waiting on Review of Budget by State

Other items on borough council agenda tonight.

Call it a holding pattern, but the members of the Madison Borough Council will have to wait a few weeks until they can begin taking final action on the municipal budget.

The council on March 14 voted unanimously to introduce the latest proposal for the municipal budget in order to meet a deadline set by the state finance committee. That review is to be completed by April 11.

The council has until April 26 to make amendments to the budget document.
