GOP Council Candidate Landrigan Files Petition

Monday is filing deadline for June primary.

Republican Robert (Bob) Landrigan of Cedar Avenue in a release said he filed his petition Friday with the Madison Borough Clerk, confirming his candidacy for a seat on the Madison Borough Council.   
 
Landrigan, 54, is the coordinator of the Madison Office of Emergency Management and an active Auxiliary Police officer. He is an EMT and serves as the president of the and .
 
Landrigan works as a vice president in the Corporate Real Estate Group of JPMorgan Chase.

He first announced his candidacy March 7.

The terms of council members Sam Cerciello, a Republican, and Robert Conley, the lone Democrat on the six-member council, expire at the end of this year, along with that of GOP Mayor Mary-Anna Holden.

Holden and Conley have announced plans to run for mayor; Cerciello will challenge for the office as an independent. Former council member Martin Barbato also is running for the GOP. Democrats Bob McDowell and Carmela Vitale also announced their candidacies for council.
