So if they predict an enormous crowd, can't they just give us the location now? The meeting is going to be long enough as it is, we don't need to relocate in the middle of it. I ask again, where is the planning in all the decision making?

Seeing that there were 62 comments on the Patch on March 7th concerning "Former Mayor: Codey Firing Wasn't the Madison Way" I would anticipate a large crowd I agree with Karin, why not pick a larger location now.

I believe it may have something to do with a legal time frame in notifying the public of a change in venue that is already behind them.

Again Bill, perhaps planning for this a week or more ago, would have been the better way to go about it. I mean between Patch and the Eagle, this was certainly expected.

Planning for a large crowd in advance isn't the Madison way. Having a lot of people show up in a room that's not large enough to hold them is the Madison way.

Sounds like the usual suspects took to the podium to blow hot air. Nothing accomplished except some frustrated also-rans got to vent

its ironic former mayor woody took the floor to complain. he's the guy who plunged us into major debt with the police/fire building

So, from the picture taken from tonight's Council Meeting, there appears to be about 100-120 folks in attendance...not exactly a "Storming of the Bastille" as predicted. This is the "Revolution" that is going to get 2,600 Signatures for a Recall? You could not "Recall" the Borough of Madison Dog Catcher with this amount of "outrage"....nice try, though

2,600 signatures would be relatively easy to attain IMO. Putting you're signature on a piece of paper is much easier than taking time away from your family on Monday night.

Were you guys commenting above actually at the meeting? If yes, you have a serious perception problem.100-120 people? Double it & take the over. Has there ever been a bigger turnout for a council meeting? Won't change anything? Nobody spoke in defense of the move because that would require using your name. It already has changed things Listen to Tsakamoto's ridiculous running for cover opening speech. There is no cover however. Badmouthing Woody? Wow. This is the kind of opposition we want especially the gutless ones.
