Boro Working Toward GVR Development Proposals

Green Village Road School development will be discussed at Friday, Monday meetings.

The mayor and the three Madison Borough Council members on the Green Village Road Redevelopment Committee are scheduled to have a special meeting Friday morning to discuss a contract matter related the redevelopment of the Green Village Road School property.

The meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. at .

Mayor Bob Conley said the meeting Friday is prep work in advance of Monday's Council meeting, when the governing body is expected to discuss the issue in executive session.

Officials are working toward a point where Madison will be able to send out requests for proposals to approved developers so the property can be sold and developed, Conley said.
