Boro Volunteer Landrigan Seeks Votes for Council Seat

Republican is political newcomer.

Robert (Bob) Landrigan a dedicated Madison volunteer, who has been serving Madison as an EMT, auxiliary police officer,  Madison’s Office of Emergency Management Coordinator and Board of Health member, is seeking a three-year term on the Madison Council on Nov. 8. He is the only political newcomer in the race this year.

Extensive Volunteerism and Corporate Experience

Settling in Madison 20 years ago, Bob has served its residents as a volunteer in many capacities for 15 of those years. He has learned much from the citizens of Madison as he has worked closely with them - hands on experience in learning what they believe, what they value in the town and what they expect from its governing body.  Taking what he has learned and coupling it with his extensive business and management background in finance, real estate taxes, and corporate compliance, he is well prepared to serve the residents as a member of the Borough Council.  These management, leadership, teamwork and financial skills will help Madison overcome the financial challenges it faces.

Family Man

“Bob is a wonderful husband, good father, and my best friend. He is thoughtful, caring, very modest and a true gentleman with a good sense of humor. He takes good care of me, our children and parents. His hobby is giving to his community. Bob genuinely cares for the whole community and sincerely gives of his time to his extended family - the entire Madison community.  I watched him in the past 15 years fulfilling all his volunteer duties with passion, dedication and a great sense of pride. Bob, if elected to the Council, will serve Madison and represent all Madisonians well with his strong passion of service, uncompromising integrity, professional skills and leadership experiences,” says Donna, Bob’s wife for 30 years.

Great Dad

The Landrigans have two daughters, Gina and Jenna, and son Jon, all graduates of Madison High School. “My dad has never missed any of our football and soccer games, no matter how busy he was with his job and volunteer work.  If he was not cheering for our teams in the stands at home and at away games, he volunteered as an EMT to stand on our sideline keeping all the players safe.  Not many teens like hanging out with their dads; but my sisters and I always did,” says Jon, a Junior at Muhlenberg College.  “We now enjoy his company even more.  Dad taught us the value of hard work and always encouraged and supported us to pursue our dreams. We are so proud of our dad and wholeheartedly support his election to the Madison Council,” adds Gina.

Goal

“My family has benefitted greatly from all that Madison has to offer – a safe and beautiful environment, excellent schools, good sports and arts programs, a varied and vibrant downtown and services that are envied by many. My goal is to ensure that current and future generations of Madison residents can both experience and benefit from these as well,” says Landrigan. “I promise to contain municipal taxes while providing quality services and maintaining our infrastructure in a forward looking and fiscally responsible manner,” states Landrigan.
