Asbestos Cleanup to Close Madison Library

Library will be closed for about a week starting Monday, March 24.

The Madison Library will close for about a week later this month for asbestos removal.

The library will close starting Monday, March 24. Books and media items borrowed can be returned while the library is closed through the outdoor drop box. Items on hold can be picked up in the Chase Room during certain hours, according to the Madison Eagle.

The library was built in 1969 with asbestos-containing materials that were identified in 2010. The library closed in March 2011 and again in November 2012 for asbestos abatement projects.

Fortunately, any vote on anything that comes up in the foreseeable future will either be unanimous or 4-2 you lose.

The Rs still never apologized for trying to dump Codey. That lady had to leave town because of it.

@A$$Jack3 - Breaking News from 2012. Is the Dem's position that if the "R's" apologize the "D's" will agree to cut electric rates for residents, or is this just the annual waving of the red rag? Last year's election indicates that people have MovedOn.org

It just shows how rotten the local republicans have become - sort of mirrors the state/national party now. Just mean spirited and awful characters. I don't know why anyone would vote for them since they are so dirty.
