Visitor Charged With Thefts From Drew Dorms

Teen charged with four counts of burglary, seven counts of theft, Madison police said.

A three-week investigation of thefts from dorm rooms has led to the arrest of a 19-year-old Lake Hopatcong man, Madison police said.

Adam Davieau was arrested last Monday by Det. Sean Plumstead and charged with four counts of burglary and seven counts of theft as a result of the investigation, according to a news release.

Davieau was a visitor on campus the night of the thefts and the investigation and evidence led to his arrest, police said. Davieau turned himself in at police headquarters, where he was processed and released pending a court appearance, according to police.

Plumstead is investigating 17 other burglaries and thefts on the campus since October, police said.
