Two Stopped on Drew Campus Charged with Criminal Trespassing

Police investigate 16 motor vehicle crashes in the last week.

Madison Police Department responded to a call by a Drew Public Safety Officer that led to two men being charged with criminal trespassing.

The incident occurred Sunday, Nov. 6 at approximately 9:06 a.m., according to the Madison Police Department.

Patrolman James Cavezza arrested Derrick Palmer, 22, of East Windsor and Terrell Lucas, 22, of Piscataway.

Cavezza was contacted by a Drew Public Safety Officer, who had Palmer and Lucas stopped on campus. Both men were transported to headquarters for processing. They were then released, pending a mandatory court appearance. Patrolman Papamarkos assisted with the arrest.

During the last week, the Madison Police Department, Fire Department, and Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to approximately 16 medical emergencies. In addition, the Madison Police Department investigated 16 motor vehicle crashes.
