Three new Madison Police Department probationary officers were sworn in at Monday night's Borough Council meeting.

The officers—Christopher J. Williams, badge 143; Nicholas R. Lunetta, badge 144; and Bartlomiej J. Glab, badge 145—were sworn in by Mayor Robert Conley.

Family, friends and members of the police department filled Council Chambers for the event.

"It's a great night for the Madison Police Department," Chief Darren Dachisen said. "I'm expecting a lot from them."

The three officers are assigned to the Patrol Division and will undergo an intense twelve-week Field Training Program.

The police department provided the information about the officers below.

Just prior to completing his course work, he was accepted into the Morris County Police Academy through the alternate route program. He graduated in December. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
