Park Ave. Closed After Car Hits Utility Pole
Road closed in both directions between Cedar Avenue, Danforth Road.
A stretch of Park Avenue in Madison is closed in both directions because of an accident involving a vehicle that struck a utility pole, police said Monday morning.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible. The road is closed between Cedar Avenue and Danforth Road.
"Park Avenue is closed between Cedar Avenue and Danforth Road in both directions due to a utility pole that was struck by a vehicle last night," according to a Madison police alert sent at about 7 a.m. "A detour is in place but avoid the area if at all possible. Thank you."
