A swearing-in ceremony marking Madison police officers James Cavezza and Joseph Longo's promotions to acting sergeant was held at the start of Monday's Borough Council meeting.
Friends, family and law enforcement officers filled Council Chambers for the event.
The promotions follow the retirements of Sgt. John Keymer and Sgt. Steve Carpenter.
