Police: Man With More Than $1K in Outstanding Warrants Found Drunk Outside Train Station

The following arrest information was supplied by the Madison Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 23-year-old Palisades Park man, who had more than $1,000 worth of outstanding warrants, was arrested Sunday after he was allegedly found drunk outside the Madison Train Station, police said Tuesday.

Ptl. Luis Goncalves arrested Alex Segura-Tamayo on the strength of criminal and traffic warrants issued by Kearny Municipal Court for $100 and Hackensack Municipal Court for $1,065, police said.

Gonclaves was conducting a nightly check at the Madison Train Station and discovered Segura-Tamayo on the stairway allegedly intoxicated Sunday at about 2:20 a.m., police said.

The officer ran a computer check on Segura-Tamayo's license and was alerted that there were active arrest warrants. Segura-Tamayo was taken to headquarters for processing and released to the authorities of the Bergen County Police Department pending a mandatory court appearance. 

On July 17 at 5:37 p.m., Ptl. Sean Plumstead arrested Tyler Greenfield, 23, of Parsippany, and charged him with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Plumstead initially stopped Greenfield on Route 24 for a motor vehicle violation, police said. The officer determined that he was allegedly in possession of marijuana, police said. Greenfield was processed at police headquarters and released pending a mandatory court appearance. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving with an expired registration.

On June 29 at 3:06 p.m., Sgt. Peter Iossa arrested Christopher Vant, 33, of Morristown, on the strength of traffic and criminal arrest warrants issued by Morris Plains Municipal court for $750, Morristown Municipal Court for $250 and a failure to appear warrant issued by Morris County Superior Court. Iossa ran a computer check on the license plate of the vehicle Vant was operating and was alerted that there were warrants for his arrest, police said. He stopped Vant on Route 24. Vant was taken to headquarters for processing and then to the Morris County Correctional Facility by the Morris County Sheriff’s Department, pending mandatory court appearances. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving with a suspended license.
