Crashes Close Green, Greenwood Avenues
Separate incidents shut down both roads on Sunday.
The issued an alert on Sunday afternoon at 3:32 p.m. saying they are investigating a motor vehicle crash on Green Avenue at the intersection of Hillside Avenue.
Police also said the lighting department and a tow truck are responding to the scene. Residents were asked to avoid the area, but the road was reopened around approximately 5:30 p.m., according to police.
Police said there was also a motor vehicle accident on Greenwood Avenue Sunday afternoon. Police said that the road was closed, but that it has since been reopened. Police said Madison police, Florham Park police, the and responded to that accident.
