Police Find Marijuana Growing in Drew Dorm

Isaac Frazier, 19, of Franklinville was charged with manufacturing marijuana, authorities said.

Madison police responding to on a report from school Public Safety officers about drugs in a campus dorm room discovered marijuana growing in the room, according to police.

Lt. Darren Dachisen said it was a small growing operation.

Isaac Frazier, 19, of Franklinville was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of the investigation, according to a Madison police news release.

Borough Patrolman Anthony Maccario arrested Frazier at 8:53 p.m. Thursday, with Sgt. John Miscia assisting with the arrest, police said.

Police said Drew University Public Safety officers contacted them after they determined drugs were in the room. Frazier was taken headquarters for processing and released pending a court appearance.

Frazier also was issued a trespassing warning by Drew Public Safety, authorities said.
