Police Blotter: West Orange Man Charged with DUI
PD responded to 22 medical emergencies in the past week.
On May 21, police arrested Anthony Drejaj, 27 of West Orange, and charged him with driving under the influence. Police initially stopped Drejaj for a motor vehicle violation. It was determined that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was transported to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released to a friend pending a mandatory court appearance. Drejaj was also issued a motor vehicle summons for speeding.
The Madison Police Department and Volunteer Corps responded to 22 medical emergencies this past week. The department investigated six vehicle crashes during the same period.
