Police Arrest Trespasser at Drew University

On May 1 at 2:09 a.m., Ptl. Sean Plumstead arrested Andreas Reich, 19, of Brooklyn, N.Y. He charged him with defiant trespass. Plumstead was contacted by Drew University Public Safety Officer Lt. LaManna who had Reich stopped on campus. Reich had received a verbal and written notice earlier not to return the campus. He was transported to headquarters for processing and released pending a mandatory court appearance.

On April 26 at approximately 4:20 p.m., Ptl. Ken Shannon arrested 19-year-old Ryan Elwood of Green Brook. He charged him with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and underage possession of alcohol. Shannon observed Elwood acting suspicious in James Park on Madison Avenue. He determined that he was in allegedly in possession of narcotics and alcohol. Elwood was transported to headquarters for processing and released pending a mandatory court appearance. Ptl. Kevin Boone assisted with the arrest.

The Police Department, , and responded to approximately 10 medical emergencies during the week.

The police investigated four motor vehicle crashes during the week.
